B.A.P - POWER
We got the power!
*Yes~* Our bunnies are back! And this time with an out of this world, powerful song that shows you Bunnies. Are. Powerful
Let's take a moment here to compose ourselves *hops around like a mad bunny* (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ajshfueahfueahfueahf) Ok, now that this is out of my system let's get down to business BABYs.
Our beloved bunnies are finally back!! After a long and anticipated two(ish) months, B.A.P are back with their new song 'Power' and boy is it powerful. Not only does it match their theme, it goes with every fight scene that you could probably think of and it makes every other song out there look like the Teletubbies theme tune.
This song follows closely to their previous concept in 'Warrior' which was strong, powerful and dominative. (Not to mention hot and sexy~ Yes....even Zelo...don't worry pedonoonas....no one blames you). It would make sense that their concept stays the same since they have an overall story which is a seeping secret; if you know what I'm saying. There are few people who complain that this is another version of Warrior however it would make no sense whatsoever if B.A.P came out in pyjama costumes singing cute little songs about...bunnies. (No...just no).
Moving on, we have this brilliant setting and from what I figured, this is how they came to Earth.
First of all, we all know that they aren't human. They're aliens from the planet 'Holulu'. And similar to how Zelo gets charged, it's the same story with the rest of the members.
Yummmm |
They finally feel that enough is enough, and decide to run away from their hometown. They choose a plan which goes something along the lines of breaking into a spaceship, taking it over and crash landing on some unknown planet (I'm so glad that they crashed on Earth) hence we see all the bodies on the floor in the beginning of the MV.
Not a happy bunny |
Destination..... Earth *yay* |
TS Entertainment has done very well as to not give away the whole story yet. It is the start or even the introduction of B.A.P. The video is a masterpiece because it contains so much details and yet it does't give us a certain conclusion but leaves it open for us to interpret.
It's a detail you should not miss |
The song itself is about going to war against a corrupt society. It is about standing up for yourself and not being a sheep. Obviously, this society refers to the 'Bunny race' and in some way ours. It is as if they are promoting their team and asking us to join them in this war (gladly~).
I have this really odd feeling that this 'bunny in making' is going to follow us in the next video. I may be wrong but what do you think?
The dance that they have in this song looks amazing. It is definitely not easy to follow and it's clear to see the amount of work and effort that they have put into it. Hats off to you B.A.P. There are many parts of the dances that are unique and stand out in the video such as the 'high kick' part. (Our bunnies are very flexible)
The 'Oh~something stinks' part:
Dang~ there's something funky in the air |
The 'Ballerina Bunnies' part:
But I feel that the most memorable dance of the whole routine is the 'You Stink' dance. (inSane copyright)
All jokes aside, the dance is a representation of the song - they fight, they hide their identity (to become one) and they remove any evidence of their existence. Powerful yet invisible. (oooo B.A.P baffles the mind)
B.A.P being a rookie(ish) group has shown us the potential of all rookie groups out there and we are truly honored to be a part of the BABY family. We shall continue to support them and hope that in the future they come up with even more bizarre and strong sounds.
To all of those that have not yet seen their powerful MV. Here you are~ Tell us what you think about it ^^.
